CSICX

The Computer Science Industry Career eXploration (CSICX) is a rebranded event that replaces the previous Virtual Computer Science Internship & Recruitment Fair (VCSIRF). It is organised by the Computer Science Society USM. This event involves companies as recruiters and interview sessions are also conducted by the recruiters. The participating companies are not limited to those based in Penang as some are also headquartered in Kuala Lumpur. The event aims to ensure that all 3rd-year students secure their internship placements while ensuring the ﬁnal year and fresh graduates to have the opportunity to secure a job placement before completing their studies. The target audience for this event is mainly USM Computer Science students.
