3 Undergraduate Computer Science Students Celebrated For Winning First Prize In Huawei ICT Global Competition 2021-2022
In supporting the growth of ICT talents, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) today held a gathering to honour and celebrate three students from the School of Computer Sciences, being the First Prize Winners of The Huawei ICT Competition Global Finals 2021-2022.
The team was led by its advisor, Ts. Dr. Mohd Najwadi Yusoff and consists of instructors from the School of Computer Sciences and the National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAv6), along with three undergraduate students who also come from School of Computer Sciences, namely Ang Yee Teng, Kang Yi Qing and Sum Joe Ming.
The competition was aimed to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange idea, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills, as well as in increasing their ability to innovate by using different technologies and platforms.
Also present were the Dean, School of Computer Sciences USM, Professor Dato’ Dr. Bahari Belaton; Talent Ecosystem Manager Huawei Malaysia, Astee Chan and Human Resources Specialist Huawei – APAC Recruitment and Allocation Huawei Malaysia, Ho Jia Yun.
