School of Computer Science Lecturer Won GoMobile inOVATION MALAYSIA 2012
Researchers from the Computer Vision Research Group (CVRG), School of Computer Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) emerged as winners at the GoMobile inOvation Malaysia 2012 Awards (Business Mobility Category) held in Kuala Lumpur. The award presented last week was for their research product-ENDEAVOR-Mobile.
ENDEAVOR-Mobile is the world’s first fully Android-based Mobile Teleradiology Collaboration Platform, and works on a wide range of Android-based smartphones and tablet devices. Its Live Image Case discussion feature enables doctors to immediately obtain expert opinions on critical medical cases from their colleagues, regardless of time and location.

The inOvation Malaysia Awards, were instituted to honour the most innovative products and services in the Malaysian mobile arena. The awards were created by GoMobile with the active support of Maxis. Project leader Prof. Mandava Rajeswari received the award from the Deputy Minister of Information, Communication and Culture Malaysia, YB Dato' Joseph Salang.
