Summary

Ph.D. degree holder in Artificial Intelligence specialising in optimisation methods of spatial layout design with pedestrian simulation model from Brunel University, London, UK. A senior lecturer with USM from 2014 and teaching numerous undergraduate and postgraduate subjects. Successfully secured 14 research grants; 7 as principal investigators and 7 grants as co-investigators within 8 years as an academic member of staff at USM. Current research projects on heterogenous pedestrian modelling under the Hubert-Curien Partnership Malaysia and France grant  with the Universite de Lyon 1, France and ABM modelling in public spaces with the University of Sydney, Australia. Also, acted as grant reviewer panel for the ELITE-S Fellowship Programme, Dublin City University and Australian Research Council.
